VIEW SHORT COURSES

If you have ever dreamed of being that person that schedules meetings, organises appointments and activities, then this course is for you. Do you like attention to detail, to be organised and to organise other people? A Personal Assistant manages all of these tasks, and this short course consisting of only two units of competency might just be the edge you are looking for.

At AOT, we provide you with full access to our online virtual company to assist you to complete this short course.

View the units below to understand what each unit within this course offers and how each delivers specific skills and knowledge in a practical sense which you can relate to in business.

You will find that the documentation and templates within our virtual company reflect what you will find in business today, giving you a very real understanding of requirements. Upon successful completion of this Personal Assistant course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of the BSB40515 Certificate IV in Business Administration.

The two units of competency which make up this short administration course are two of the ten units which form the BSB40515 Certificate IV in Business Administration. This means that once you have completed this short course, you have already commenced a full Certificate IV qualification!

Career Opportunities

  • Office Administrator
  • Personal Assistant
  • Receptionist

You may use some or each of the two units to credit transfer toward a qualification. At AOT this includes:

  • BSB40515 Certificate IV in Business Administration

Talk to our course advisor for more information on credit transfer rules and the qualification that will best suit your needs.

We provide you with three (3) months to complete this course. How long it actually takes will be reflective of the time you are able to dedicate to your studies.

This course could be completed within 15 – 20 hours of study per unit. It may take you less time, it may take you more. That is why we give you three (3) months and all the support you need. The rest is up to you!

All of our assessments are marked by your assessor within five working days following the day you submitted your work. You have three attempts for each task to achieve a competency result, with your assessor giving you detailed feedback following each submission.
