This course provides an introduction to the underpinning skills and knowledge associated with basic accounting concepts in a retail environment. The course also introduces the concepts behind management accounting, consequently, by the end of this course, a student should be able to manage budgets and forecasts and evaluate an organisation's financial performance.

This course provides a broad understanding for those working in the financial services industry and providing advice to retail clients, to satisfy the requirements of the Regulatory Guideline 146 Training of financial product advisors (RG 146) to ensure all providers of financial product advice are suitably qualified.

This is a nationally recognised qualification.
