RG 146 (Tier 2) Financial Services- ASIC Approved

Course Info

Participants who successfully complete assessments will be awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment from FNS30107 Certificate III in Financial Services or FNS30304 Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical). The two units contained within the Statement of Attainment are the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) compliant units:

  • Establish client relationship and analyse needs
  • Develop present and negotiate client solutions

ASIC Regualtions

ASIC regulations state that anyone who provides financial product advice to retail clients MUST have at least completed RG 146 before they can do so. The intention of the Regulatory Guideline 146 Training of financial product advisers (RG 146) is to ensure all providers of financial product advice are suitably qualified. Accredited Online Training is an ASIC approved course provider.

What will you achieve from this course?

These two units have been specifically designed to satisfy the skills requirements of current Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) regulation (Financial Services Reform Act) at Tier 2 level. The unit will be changed in accordance with relevant changes to the legislation. 
It specifically relates to those staff advising on financial services products as identified by ASIC as being at Tier 2 level.
