A virtual classroom is an online meeting room where a trainer or assessor can come together with one, two or more people to talk, share ideas, discuss course material and/or be assessed.
Sessions are booked in our virtual classroom using our online interactive booking calendar.
The virtual classroom has 4 purposes:
1. Virtual classroom assessment: At various times throughout your course you may be invited to participate in a virtual classroom assessment session with a trainer. You will be shown how to book these sessions for a time convenient to you.
2. Mentoring session: This can be used if you would like personal assistance or coaching from your specific trainer.
3. RPL/fast track application: You have booked an RPL/fast track application session, you must enter the virtual classroom at your confirmed booking time.
4. Credit transfer – Currency Conversation: If you are applying for credit transfer for a unit of competency you completed over 12 months ago.
You can join a meeting from a Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone or Android device. It is free and safe to use. You will need a microphone and speakers or a headset to participate in the virtual classroom. We recommend a USB headset.
Sessions generally are 20-30 minutes in length. There is no limit to the number of sessions you can book and attend.
