Here at AOT, we continually strive to ensure nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment across Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) system, meeting the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) 2015.
So what does that mean for our learners? It means that each time we develop or review a unit or a full course; we discuss it with managers in the relevant industry. These managers want to employ people with particular skills and knowledge, and they help us to develop our courses and assessments to include those same skills and knowledge.
We then have our units and courses validated to ensure that not only are we meeting the requirements of industry, but that we meet the requirements of our governing bodies.
Our trainers are handpicked. They each have the qualification that they are training and assessing in. They each are a suitably qualified trainer and assessor; and most importantly, they each are current in their experience and knowledge of the industry in which they are training. This means that if you are studying a course in Human Resources Management with AOT, your trainer will be currently working in that role, or they have recently been in that industry. Our trainers and assessors interact with and are part of associations and groups for the industry they train and assess in, to ensure that information and guidance passed on to you, the learner, are relevant, up to date and accurate.
We look forward to, and request, feedback from our learners and take your comments on board. We take continuous improvements seriously so that the product and service we offer you is not only compliant but quality assured.
