In this first stage, 3 topics will be covered – critical thinking, business resources and digital technologies.
Critical and creative thinking are essential workplace skills in today’s dynamic world. This short course will help you develop these skills including how to create a safe work environment, facilitate learning opportunities, assess your staff’s critical and creative thinking skills, and analyse your current workplace systems.
In your role as manager in an enterprise, you may be required to manage resources to implement a business plan and use various digital technologies. In this short course, you will learn how to allocate and monitor the use of physical and/or human resources to meet defined business objectives, as well as identify and assess the right technology to utilise at work. It is an evolving and ever-changing modern workplace and knowing how to use digital technologies will give you flexibility to perform in various work environments.
Successful completion of the three units of competency for this short course outlined below will earn you a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of the BSB50120 Diploma of Business.
