In this second stage, you will learn to develop and use emotional intelligence, lead effective workplace relationships and implement and monitor WHS policies and procedures.
To be an effective leader, you must be able to lead workplace relationships. This includes developing work task strategies, problem solving, conflict resolution and communication. A good leader has emotional intelligence to increase self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management in the workplace.
Work health and safety is applicable in all workplaces and all industries. As a manager, you will have WHS responsibilities. These can include providing information, implementing and monitoring procedures or training, assessing and controlling risk and maintaining records.
