In an HR supervisory position, you will be required to have a working knowledge of industrial relations and work health and safety (WHS).
Industrial relations is the management of work-related obligations and entitlements between employers and their employees. In many HR roles, you will be required to communicate and implement the organisation’s employee and industrial relations policies and procedures, assist others in dealing with employee and industrial relations conflict.
Employees must be updated with the latest changes and requirements and the key provisions of the WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice that apply to their working environment. In this course, you will learn to implement and monitor WHS policies and procedures, create solutions to problems and provide supervision and guidance to others.
Successful completion of the units of competency outlined below for this short course will earn you a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of BSB40420 Certificate IV in Human Resource Management.
